The Frank & Eileen Foundation (the “Foundation”) is committed to ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and security of personal information entrusted to us by users of our website, frankandeileen.org (the “Site”).  We do so by:

  • being transparent about the types of data we collect, who has access to it, and how we use it;  
  • providing this notice in plain language; and
  • taking reasonable measures to protect any data you submit or we collect online.

Information we collect:  If you submit personal information through our online forms, we store that data in a secure environment and use it only for the purpose it was submitted.  For example:

  • If you sign up for our newsletter or email lists, we use that information to send you communications, facilitated by our email service provider(s) (as of the Last Update, our primary communications partner is Klaviyo).
  • If you donate to the Foundation or make any contributions through the Site, we and our fundraising partner(s) will receive the information you provide to process your donation, send receipts and maintain donation records, such as for tax purposes.  You may be required to create an account with our fundraising partner(s) in order to donate or contribute. As of the Last Update, our principal fundraising partner is Funraise.  Receipts and other donation communications are facilitated by our email service provider(s).
  • If you send us a grant application, we use that information to evaluate the application and contact you.


We also receive limited, standard browsing data about Site visits, including through our integration of Google Analytics, which we use only to optimize the way the Site presents information and understand audience trends.  To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we maintain appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Disclosure of information:  We do not share any information you provide with any third-party individual or organization for any purpose, other than as necessary to fulfill your requests and support and maintain the operations of the Site.  We do not sell or ‘share’ any personal information you provide.

Minimum age: We do not knowingly collect or maintain information from individuals under the age of 16, and no part of our website is designed to attract anyone under the age of 16.

Applicable law:  As a nonprofit organization, we are not required to comply with the same data privacy standards that apply to for-profit businesses.  Some laws, like the California Consumer Privacy Act, generally do not apply to us.  If you have shared information with us and have questions about your rights under particular data privacy laws, please contact us at hello@frankandeileen.org

Updates:  This Notice is effective as of the Last Updated date above. As the Site changes, this Notice may change over time.  Anytime we modify the Notice, we will post a revised version on the Site and update the Last Updated date above.
