Our Story

Rooted in Frank & Eileen founder Audrey McLoghlin’s belief that entrepreneurship is the most powerful driver of positive change for women, the Frank & Eileen Foundation traces its origins back to a pivotal moment in 2020.

That year, Audrey led Frank & Eileen to become a certified B Corporation, receiving the highest impact score of any woman-owned, globally recognized apparel brand. The achievement cemented what Audrey had always known: responsibility follows opportunity—she had to do more.

Frank & Eileen then launched a $10 million, ten-year Giving Pledge to fund entrepreneurship scholarships and programs for girls and young women at top U.S. schools. The impact was immediate. The pledge was fulfilled in just four years, and, as a brand, Frank & Eileen doubled its commitment to $20 million.

Inspired by proof of what’s possible, Audrey took that momentum further. In 2026, she launched the Frank & Eileen Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with a mission to change our world by creating more women entrepreneurs. Frank & Eileen seeded $1,000,000 to the Foundation, continuing its brand legacy of backing the female leaders of today and tomorrow.

Why Entrepreneurship?

Financial freedom is the ultimate freedom. Women-owned businesses fund women, hire women, innovate for women, and reshape the way business is done. To truly move the needle, we must not only support women already on the path—we must create more leaders in business who see entrepreneurship as a viable possibility.

Impact Through Education

Girls and women are more likely to become entrepreneurs if given the opportunity to practice the process and gain confidence through educational programming.* That’s why, since 2020, Frank & Eileen has partnered with three of America’s top graduate schools and one game-changing college preparatory school through our Giving Pledge. Witnessing the entrepreneurial magic at each of these four institutions has further solidified Audrey McLoghlin’s belief that education is the key to transforming the entrepreneurial landscape. Education is where the Frank & Eileen Foundation will focus 100% of its impact.

Start Young. Think Big.

Through programming developed by the Frank & Eileen Foundation, we provide entrepreneurship education starting from middle school upwards. Why start young? Because that’s when ideas are limitless, possibility peaks, and there is no fear of failure. Research shows that until age 12, girls’ confidence levels are virtually equal to that of boys’. However, this window of self-assurance closes quickly as adolescence sets in. Developmentally, boys become more comfortable with risk-taking, while girls develop high levels of emotional intelligence making them more observant but more cautious. Studies indicate the percentage of girls who feel they are ‘not allowed to fail’ more than doubles between the ages of 12 and 13, inhibiting the risk-taking and perseverance necessary to embrace and pursue entrepreneurship.*

Our Mission. Your Legacy.

Rooted in the belief that our impact is stronger together, the Frank & Eileen Foundation invites supporters to co-create generational impact with us and join the Giving Club, a community-powered donor club. Frank & Eileen covers administrative costs, ensuring donations fund Foundation programs.

The ultimate goal is to change the world by creating more women entrepreneurs. By investing in early childhood entrepreneurship education, we are equipping the next generation with tools to bring their bold entrepreneurial spirit to life. Together, we can leave a generational legacy of positive impact.

Our Leadership

Audrey McLoghlin: Founder, Board President

Audrey McLoghlin

Founder, Board President

Former engineer and serial entrepreneur Audrey McLoghlin founded Frank & Eileen in 2009. Inspired by a childhood determination to have her own business, Audrey’s Irish roots, and named in honor of her beloved grandparents, Frank & Eileen has grown slowly from its best-Italian-fabric-in-the-world-obsessed beginnings to a woman-owned, woman-led leader in sustainability and slow fashion. To this day, Audrey’s commitment to entrepreneurship as a pathway to a better world remains steadfast: she owns 100% of her business, has worked with the same sustainable manufacturers since day one, and continues to create opportunities for other women to pursue their own entrepreneurial journeys. A determination to act as a force for good in the fashion industry led to Frank & Eileen attaining B Corp certification in 2020. After recertifying in 2024, F&E continues to hold the highest impact score for any woman-owned, globally recognized apparel brand in the United States. After nearly two decades of steady growth, Audrey continues to build her force-for-good legacy. As a mother, founder, and CEO, Audrey is laser-focused on growing both the Frank & Eileen brand and her nonprofit, the Frank & Eileen Foundation, while expanding entrepreneurship access for all.
